Residents are advised that access to Sanctuary Cove via Sickle Avenue will be closed from Monday 3 October 2016 through to Monday 5 December 2016 when the road will reopen for traffic (excluding any delays due to weather). Entry into Sanctuary Cove will be restricted to Sanctuary Cove Boulevard off Hope Island Road during this time.
Mulpha Sanctuary Cove (Developments) Pty Ltd (MSCD), as part of their new land development works, intends to construct a new permanent access road into their new land area (Sanctuary Point) and further to construct Phase 1 of a new entry road arrangement into Sanctuary Cove during the 2016 calendar year to suit the new three (3) lane entry/exit gates which is due to be completed during 2017. Approval has recently been provided by the Primary Thoroughfare Body Corporate (PTBC) for these works to commence. (See Image)
MSCD and the PTBC understand that traffic disruptions may occur at Main and Village gates during this time and greatly appreciate the cooperation and patience of all residents throughout the period. To assist with traffic management, Sickle Avenue gate staff will be posted to the Security roundhouse in order to minimise any delays.
These works are essential and, together with additional works being undertaken in 2017, will culminate in an exciting new entry statement for Sanctuary Cove resort.
Once again we thank you for your understanding and apologise for any inconvenience during this time.
